The Purpose of this Chapter is to:

Promote and maintain the professional image and high ethical standards of veterinary technicians.

Promote progressive and humane medical care for all creatures.

Promote and maintain a cooperative professional relationship with the veterinary medical profession.

Serve as a contact between members of NAVTA and veterinary technology students.

Further the social and scientific advancement of veterinary technology students.

Foster a sense of community among students in the Veterinary Technology Program.

Engage in community service projects related to animal care and welfare.

Collaborate with faculty, professionals, and organizations in the field of veterinary technology.
